Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This policy explains how HVAC SiteCraft uses cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies on hvacsitecraft.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. Your choice comes first
Google Analytics and Meta advertising technologies are blocked until you affirmatively allow the relevant category. “Reject optional” is available on the first layer. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from viewing the website or requesting a concept.
You can change or withdraw a choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” control shown on the website. When you withdraw a category, we instruct the active provider to revoke that consent, delete accessible first-party provider cookies, and reload the page without the affected technology.
2. Necessary storage
hvac_cookie_preferences is a first-party cookie that records the version, time, and optional categories you accepted or rejected. It is necessary to remember and apply your privacy choice. It expires after 180 days, after which we ask again. The form itself does not save an unfinished draft in browser storage.
3. Analytics
When you allow Analytics, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> to distinguish browsers and maintain session state. We configure these cookies for no more than 13 months from the initial choice and disable advertising personalization and Google signals in the site tag.
Analytics helps us understand visits, page interactions, calls to action, form starts, errors, and completed requests. Google Analytics does not load at all before Analytics is accepted.
4. Advertising
When you allow Advertising, Meta Pixel may use _fbp and _fbc identifiers, generally for up to 90 days, to measure ad visits and conversions. It may also receive page and event information.
If you submit the concept form while Advertising is allowed, Meta Conversions API may receive a hashed email address, and where supplied a hashed phone number, together with browser identifiers, IP address, user agent, source URL, and the conversion event identifier. Hashing is a security measure and does not make the data anonymous. Neither Meta Pixel nor Meta Conversions API runs without the recorded Advertising choice.
5. Preference and retention details
- No preference yet: optional provider scripts and server-side advertising conversion calls remain off.
- Reject optional: only the necessary preference cookie is retained for 180 days.
- Analytics accepted: Google Analytics is enabled for the choice period; its first-party cookies are configured for no more than 13 months.
- Advertising accepted: Meta measurement is enabled for the choice period; Meta states that _fbp and _fbc generally last 90 days.
- Withdrawal: the site immediately applies the new choice and removes accessible first-party provider cookies. Provider-side records already collected may remain under the retention terms described in their policies.
6. Providers and international transfers
Analytics data may be received by Google, and advertising measurement data may be received by Meta. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. The safeguards and transfer information described in our Privacy Policy apply.
7. Contact
